We’re hard at work with this year’s Amazing Summer Race preparations as well as the final tweaks to the new Distortion Tower entrance, but we wanted to give you all a bunch of mid-month patches first! We hope you enjoy~

• New Minigame: Monopoly
  • Find the entrance NPC at the Comodo Carnival.
  • Play the classic board game with 2 to 4 players in a party.
  • The game is instanced so multiple games can be played at the same time.
  • This is a just-for-fun game without rewards.
  • Please keep in mind that this is quite a complicated script where a lot can go wrong. While we have playtested it thoroughly, bugs might have slipped through. Please let us know if anything feels off!
• General Updates
  • As an experiment, slightly increased the delay between using items from 100ms to 150ms in PvP maps only. This is done in an attempt to level the playing field for players around the world.
  • The !telereminder command now also works on Intimidate and Exile/Expulsion.
  • The !nolootid list is now saved upon log out. This is an account-bound save.
• Bug fixes
  • Fixed !addextradropeffect not working properly.
  • Fixed White Potion Boxes and Condensed White Potion Boxes from being openable without checking weight/inventory first.
  • Fixed Faceworm Leg [4] not being equipable by Novice.
  • Fixed ‘bReduceMeleeReturn’ and ‘bReduceMagicReturn’ scripts defaulting to 1 reflect damage when no reflect damage is actually taken.
  • Fixed Equip Switch dispelling Shield Buffs when swapping Shields.
  • Fixed several bugs with the Chess minigame such as En Passant as well as timeout issues that would make the game stuck.
  • Fixed Green Iguana Card mentioning the wrong drop name “Fruit Punch” when it should be “Fruit Mix”.
  • Fixed Snake Head Hat mentioning “Every Job except Novice” instead of “Every Job”.
• Battlegrounds Updates
  • Increased Speed Potions given to Whitesmiths from 4 to 6.
  • Increased Bottle Grenades given to Creators from 60 to 75.
  • Increased Acid Bottles given to Creators from 50 to 65.
  • Increased Poison Bottles given to Assassins from 2 to 3 (bigger maps keep them at 4).
  • Restocking cooldown decreased from 60 to 30 seconds in Team Deathmatch.
  • Introducing Unrestricted mode voting:
    • Vanilla is still the main event, but when BG goes quiet, you can shake things up yourselves; no GM required.
    • If no match has started for an hour, a vote opens for 30 minutes. Get 4 players to use @bgunres (or vote at the Battle Recruiter) and Unrestricted goes live. It then runs as long as you keep playing, and slips back to Vanilla after 30 minutes without a match. Don’t reach 4 in time and the vote closes; the next one can open after another quiet hour.
    • One vote per master account, BG-eligible players only. Votes are cancelled if Vanilla matches pick back up, and the mode never changes mid-match — your round always finishes the way it started.
    • Due to faster-paced action in Unrestricted mode, all players will be given 50 extra Red Potions as well as 25 extra Blue Potions. Alchemist class will get an additional 50 Acid Bottles and Bottle Grenades due to Ghostring-carded armors being available. This is an initial baseline increase of supplies that we can adjust over time.
    • Immune Shield’s BG effects now only work in Vanilla BG.
