LoveDuo Champions

The April patch will fully conclude all features of Talontine’s Season. The LoveDuo tournament saw amazing plays and strategies from all contestants. Congratulations to the winners of the LoveDuo tournament grand prizes:

General Updates

• Added a Secondary Kafra Storage, with 300 item slots. It has the same cost and password as your regular storage.
• Fixed a potential bug in Ancient Juperos by removing any leftover Juperian Keycards upon instance start.
• You can now bottle up to 100 Cursed Waters at a time.
• You can now purchase up to 100 Guarana Candy at a time.
• Streamlined the process of purchasing the Midgard Camp consumables (Rune Strawberry Cake, Schwartzwald Pine Jubilee, Arunafeltz Desert Sandwich) and made it possible to purchase up to 100 of them at a time.
• Added ability to unslot single cards from gears now rather than all cards. Unslotting all cards now gets a small discount.
• Fixed Encore skill not properly reducing SP usage.
• Added two new BG Happy Hour times:
  • Wednesday 8am – 9am.
  • Friday 8am – 10am.
• Updates to Buying Stores:
  • You can no longer set up a store where your zeny amount cannot afford any of the items inside your store.
  • Stores now automatically close when someone purchases an item and afterwards there is not enough zeny to purchase any of the items in the store.

  • WoE points gained from breaking/building Barricades and Guardians Stones are now capped.
  • Added a Vanilla version for Barricades. Officially, barricades have 120,000 HP. We have always used a customized version with 500,000 HP, which is too much for Vanilla WoE. That’s why Vanilla SE now uses barricades that have 150,000 HP.
  • Similarly, we have now added an Unrestricted version for the Guardian Stones. Vanilla stones keep their original 120,000 HP, while the new Unrestricted stones have 250,000.
  • More changes to how Barricades, Guardian Stones, Guardians and the Emperium itself function are in the works, as well as updates to the Treasury Boxes.

Bifrost Field Overhaul

With the survey that was conducted earlier this year, the survey results coming in, and with an overwhelming number of participants saying they would be in favor of massive reworks of existing areas, we are happy to announce that this update will be the first that introduces a massive rework of an existing area, starting with the Bifrost Field and Abyss Lake maps and their contents! These updates should set a standard going forward towards our commitment to making greater quality experiences and a willingness to revisit older areas.

This update introduces several drop table reworks, mob spawn reworks, mob stat reworks, zeny price adjustments for certain misc items, and gears related to the update also get reworks. There’s a lot to cover here, so let’s get started!

NOTE: All updated old items can still be worn in Vanilla if they already could. New additions, including the slotted versions of older items can not be used in Vanilla. This is the Soft Vanilla restriction, which means they can still be used in Vanilla events or instances.

• Increased Field 2 spawn rate from 5 to 15.

Chrome Metal Sword

• Increased Slot Count from 0 to 2, and added a 3 slot version to the Slot Enchanter NPC.
  • S Tier, 1m, 5 Ori/10 Steel
• Reduced Req. Level from 90 to 75.
• Reduced Weight from 220 to 200.
• Reduced Weapon ATK from 180 to 150.
• Now adds AGI + 1 for each refine level instead of AGI + 1 flat on base.

Mental Stick

• Can now be used by Non-Trans.
• Increased Slot Count from 1 to 2, and added a 3 slot version to the Slot Enchanter NPC.

• Reduced Req. Level from 90 to 40.
• Reduced ATK from 142 to 130.
• New Item Effect:
  • Triple Attack Rate + 20%.
  • Enable Combo Finish to inflict Splash Damage all the time without the Soul Link.
  • Every Refine Level adds 20% Combo Finish Splash damage.
    • There is no increase on the source target!

Telekinetic Orb

• Added a 1 Slot version to the Slot Enchanter NPC.
  • S Tier, 1m, 2 Elu
• Reduced Req. Level from 92 to 60.
• No longer adds a Sightrasher chance when magically attacking.

Dance Shoes

• Reduced Req. Level from 90 to 60.
• Reduced DEF from 4 to 2.
