With the first week of our relaunch having finished, we couldn’t be happier with how the server has come alive! More players than we ever expected returned to the game and it’s been amazing seeing you all!

Our first maintenance is focused mainly on updating some core server functionality. 99% of this you won’t notice, but they are important for the functionality of the server.

For starters, we have ended the Easter Event as well as the 12x EXP Event. We hope you all enjoyed them to their full extent. Easterlina is hanging around Prontera a little longer to exchange any leftover tokens. The Summer Event will keep running for the rest of the month!

We did make some updates that you will notice, including:

• An updated client:
  • International charsets should now be supported and logged properly.
  • Now supports the latest version of dgVoodoo, so enthusiasts can give this new version and try and see if if improves anything!
  • Client will no longer close when you disconnect or use autotrade.
  • Custom fonts should now work again.
  • No longer generates debugging files in your game folder.
  • Should no longer freeze when opening browser windows from within the game.
• Fixed the WoE board having a malfunctioning menu and WoE display.
• Tasty Pink Potions and Military Rations now have a dedicated status. These can no longer be dispelled and will not disappear when you die. They now also feature unique status icons.
• You can no longer cheese other player’s afk timers in BG using Blade Stop or Immobile Common Status Conditions such as Stun, Freeze, Stone Curse, or Sleep in BG.

And that’s it for the time being. Now that the server is getting settled, we’re shifting our focus to new content updates, including but not limited to the Halloween Event.
