We have just completed some maintenance that resolves some internal issues. At the same time we’ve gone ahead and merged some updates that we’ve been working on. Please enjoy!

rAthena Updates

• Added various rAthena Updates. Please let us know if you notice anything unusual. Relevant rAthena changes include the following:
  • Dark Breath Official Behavior Update
    • Is now a Magic Attack instead of a MISC Attack.
      • By extension, removed the now redundant ignore FLEE and DEF flags it once had.
    • Now has a 50% chance whether it will inflict damage or not.
    • Updated damage formula;
      • Old = Target Max HP x Skill Level x 10 / 100
      • New = Target Max HP x (If Skill Level <= 5 [100 / (2 x 6 – Skill Level)] Otherwise [50]) / 100
  • Updated previous Death Counter fix to use official rA method.
  • NPCs which do something based on player proximity (aka not clicking by walking near) have new checks.
  • Fixed Axes breaking during dual wielding when they shouldn’t break.
  • Several 3rd Class skills have been revamped. This does not affect any normal gameplay, however some higher-end MVPs that have these skills might be affected. High Sorcerer Tyra’s Reverberation skill for instance has been revamped.

General Updates

• Sonic Blow Autocast
  • No longer instantly stops your normal attacks.
  • Relevant Items affected by this change include Injustice Card, Krishna [2], and Sloth Hat [1].
• Battlegrounds:
  • Fixed Please Don’t Forget Me not getting dispelled when healing in BG.
  • Ground Units placed by skills such as Traps, Safety Wall, etc, are now removed when the player who placed them dies.
• Fixed a variety of issues with songs/dances where buffing yourself would be possible without the appropriate Soul Link.
• Permanently added a small amount of Santa Porings to Toy Factory 1 and Lutie Field.
• You no longer need 3 players to enter Thanatos Tower 3.
