We’re starting off February with a small patch round, given that we’ve had three patches in January already. As usual we have a new Monthly Box as well as a new TamTam’s Odyssey region, GMC and Wave Boxes, etc. We’ve also fixed a bunch of internal errors that came up after our recent rAthena merges. We will monitor this these coming weeks and will continue merging updates along the way.

We’ve also launched our annual Lunar New Year event, allowing you to participate in a fun new quest as well as some extras!

Regular Updates

• Properly fixed Dark Breath formula this time. New formula is as follows:
  • ( TargetHP * min( 10 * skill_lv, 50 ) ) / 100;
• Fixed instances where entrances depend on rental items. This includes Malangdo Culvert and Octopus Cave.
• Cleaned up leftovers from Halloween and Christmas events.
• Further cleaned up Super Novice Death Record. This also fixes a missing recalculation when resetting death counter through Soul Link.

Lunar New Year Event

It’s the Year of the Rabbit and the celebration of the new spring has landed upon Talon Tales! The lunar deities have made their way to Louyang once again to grace the mortals with their presence.

Find Mao the Rabbit Deity in Louyang to embark on a quest (or few) to maintain peace across the land and beyond.

The Year of the Rabbit will see some new additions to the Lunar New Year event.

Firstly, the Heavenly Guard in Prontera will provide you with a quick warp to this year’s event field map after some quest progression has been made, as well as the Rabbit Deity’s location in Louyang. This place is scheduled to be released during the second part of this event. Stay tuned for the access!

The rewards this year require a little bit more than just subtle inquisition to obtain. Keep an eye out on what the event NPCs have to say.
